MARK DOTY & AIMEE NEZHUKUMATATHIL

Mark Doty is the author of three memoirs, a book about craft and criticism, and nine books of poetry, including Fire to Fire: New and Selected Poems, which won the 2008 National Book Award, and My Alexandria, winner of the Los Angeles Times Book Prize, the National Book Critics Circle Award, and the T.S. Eliot Prize in the UK. Doty has received two NEA fellowships, Guggenheim and Rockefeller Foundation Fellowships, a Lila Wallace/Readers Digest Award, and the Witter Byner Prize.
 
Aimee Nezhukumatathil is the author of three books of poetry including Lucky Fish, winner of the Hoffer Grand Prize for Prose and Independent Books. She has been awarded an NEA Fellowship in poetry, the Glenna Luschia Prize from Prairie Schooner, and the Angoff Award from The Literary Review. In 2014, Nezhukumatathil became one of the country’s youngest poets to achieve the rank of full Professor of English. She teaches at The State University of New York-Fredonia.
