Medieval Illuminations

In the Gothic splendor of Washington National Cathedral, London’s famed The Orlando Consort joins the Folger Consort in a program of music from this monumental manuscript, including sublime vocal works such as a Gloria by “Roy Henry,” who was probably King Henry V, and dances and country tunes performed on medieval instruments. With instrumentalists Mary Springfels and Daniel Meyers and the voices of The Orlando Consort.
