From the soil to the petal, Jane Clarke and Adam Pyle will explore the history of a rose in this generative workshop. Participants will hear Jane read from rose-inspired work and learn from Adam’s presentation as they create their own work. Participants will take inspiration from the USBG’s rose garden or their own surroundings. At the conclusion of the workshop, participants will write and possibly share their own poems.

This program is being supported by a collaboration with The Folger Shakespeare Library and the Friends of the U.S. Botanic Garden. It is part of the Folger’s O.B. Hardison Poetry Series.
