The O.B. Hardison Poetry program welcomes the best writers and speakers to the Folger in this unique and dynamic reading series. In the 2021–22 season, we will welcome the artistry of Diane Seuss, Victoria Chang, t’ai freedom ford, Martín Espada, Shara McCallum, Tamiko Beyer, LeAnne Howe and so many more. The writers in this season’s Hardison Poetry series will engage you with language that lives beyond the first moment one hears them, that returns again and again stretching itself out for clarity, for sustenance.

We invite poetry lovers from across the nation and the world to connect with the O.B. Hardison Poetry Series as a subscriber to this series of readings presented live online.

Subscribers also have access to these readings which are also recorded, throughout the year. These recordings will be automatically added to your account for you to enjoy (or enjoy again) at your leisure.
